The few cookies we use to run the shop, what each one does and how long it lasts, and how to change your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as what is in your cart.
Cookies we use
These cookies are needed for the shop to work, so they are always on. They cannot be switched off in our cookie settings, because the cart and checkout would stop working without them.
- wp_woocommerce_session_* — keeps your cart between pages — expires after 2 days.
- woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart — tell the shop that your cart has changed — deleted when you close your browser.
- ve_age_ok — remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over — 30 days.
- ve_cookie_consent — remembers your cookie choice — 180 days.
- wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* — keep you signed in, and are only set if you sign in to your account — until you close your browser, or 14 days if you tick “Remember me”.
Browser storage
We keep your wishlist in your browser’s storage under the name ve_wishlist. This is not a cookie and is not sent to us with every page. It stays on this device until you clear it. If you sign in, your wishlist is also saved to your account, so it follows you to other devices.
Optional cookies
These are only set if you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner. Today there is one kind: WooCommerce’s order-attribution cookies, whose names start with sbjs_. For the length of your visit they remember how you reached us — for example a search engine, a social media link or an advert — so that it can be recorded with your order and we can see which channels work. If you choose “Essential only” they are never set, and if you change your mind later they are deleted.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add any other optional cookie in future, it will only be set after you choose “Accept all”, and we will list it on this page.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Look for the privacy or cookie settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. If you block the cookies listed above, your cart and checkout will not work, and you will be asked to confirm your age again.
